"In this leg of the race, teams must choose between Count Down or Step Up.
In Count Down, teams make their way through the narrow Italian streets to this famous landmark, Trevi Fountain. This fountain, at the junction of three roads (tre vie) marks the end point of one of the aqueducts that supplied water to ancient Rome.
Once there, teams must count all the coins thrown into the fountain by visitors, which upholds a traditional legend that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome. Once completed, the teams must reveal their calculation to the guard. If they are correct, they will receive their next clue.
This task is not hard for those who have a head for numbers, but teams may find it difficult to account for all the coins which are continuously being thrown in."
