Max: "Go Leafs Go!"Ben: "Go Oilers Go!"
Max: "The Leafs do have points in eight straight games and have won five of their last six."
Ben: "It’s too little too late. It was the first time in eight games that they didn’t go in to overtime or need a shootout. The 2-1 road win over the Caps ended the Leafs' streak of seven consecutive overtime games."
Max: "... which tied the NHL record set by the 2003-04 Oilers, by the way. C'mon, Edmonton is coming off a lethargic, mistake-filled 4-2 loss in Ottawa. And, they've won just once in their last eight trips to Leafville. The Oilers’ special teams have been so bad in their last five games that the entire city of Edmonton should be embarrassed. Sheldon Souray and his cohorts are operating at just six percent on the power play in their last five and overall are just 1-for-27 in their last seven games."
Ben: "You just watch. Ales Kotalik was understandably frazzled last game with the trade and the travel. A good rest should have him at his best tonight."
Max: "Yeah? The Oilers have lost six of eight games including being doubled up by the Senators two days ago. They've had trouble generating chances in their last ten games, hitting the 30 shot mark just twice. The Leafs are still rolling: they're 6-3-1 in their last 10 and just beat Washington. And, don't forget: Toronto scored three power play goals to beat Edmonton 5-2 when the clubs met in November at Rexall."
Ben: "Yay... Oilers!"

silly penguins, detroit has more points than the oilers or the leafs.
Ah yes Mojomeister, that may be true, but when the playoffs roll around, that means squat. Don't forget which eighth seeded team sent Detroit packing a few short years ago. We had the pleasure of watching Steve Yzerman's last game...
And really, how hard is it to get more points than the Leafs? Probably half the teams in the AHL could do it. It's not really something a team should be proud of.
